Series you should to watch on Netflix this winter

Netflix is a worldwide company that allows the streaming of shows and movies online. With over 44 million customers in over 40 countries, Netflix is one of the biggest online media streaming service in the world. It is a great way to pass time when you are bored on the weekends or even during school breaks. During winter break you can cuddle up in your blanket by yourself or get the whole family together and enjoy a   family friendly shows. These are a few television series popular with the student population.

“Gossip Girl”

“Gossip Girl” is a series about two high school girls attending a boarding school in Connecticut, Serena van der Woodsen (Blake Lively) and Blair Waldrof (Leighton Meester). When they become rivals for popularity, their battle for power is publicized to their entire prepatory school thanks to the scandalous rumor blog, Gossip Girl. Because of the juicy secrets, extravagant fashion, “Gossip Girl” is a show that appeals to many.

“Friends”

This show was one of the most popular shows to appear on television. “Six young people, on their own and struggling to survive in the real world, find the companionship, comfort and support they get from each other to be the perfect antidote to the pressures of life,” IMDb summary writer, Kevin Ackley said. “Friends” is airing January 1, 2015 on Netflix; a great opportunity for those who love the show or are unfamiliar with it.

“The Office”

“The Office,” has aired on television for eight seasons and is adored by many people across the world. “The Office” is a comical series that chronicles the quirkiness of disgruntled office workers, headed by the awkward boss, Michael Scott, at the Dunder Mifflin paper company. If you need a good laugh or you are having a bad day, “The Office” is a great show to turn on and relax, especially over the holidays because of the relatable comedy and sarcasm.
