The upscale Porter Ranch Vineyards, while still under heavy construction until its set opening date in spring of 2019, has made much progress since they first broke ground on the site on June 1, 2017.
Since that ceremonial day with Shapell Liberty Investment Properties and Los Angeles City Council-member Mitch Englander, the Vineyards have released three new retail additions to the property that will join the already planned Whole Foods Market.
On May 1, 2018, it was publicized that AMC Theaters, Nordstrom Rack, and Ulta Beauty will be available on the lot opening day. According to their website, (www.TheVineyards.com) the project also includes a Kaiser-Permanente medical office building which is set to open early 2019, as well as a 110-room hotel, and 266-unit luxury apartment complex that will be completed by 2020.
The project is said to be inspired by California’s wine regions and will include active vineyards as well as olive and oak trees throughout the property. The atmosphere, according to the company constructing the lot, is promoted as vintage and welcoming to all.
“The Vineyards will be a sophisticated, pedestrian-oriented retail experience that not only will serve as a central gathering spot for Porter Ranch residents, but also as the prime choice for higher-end shops and restaurants serving this entire region,” John Love, Vice President for Shapell Properties Inc said in the project’s press release on their website.
Many people are anticipating the completion of this project, and leasing information for the four apartment complexes is available on their website (www.TheVineyards.com). The four complexes will be a total of roughly 273,000 square feet of leasable area and will contain 1,589 parking stalls.
The community itself is located along the 118 freeway and will take up the north and south sides of Rinaldi Street at the western intersection of Porter Ranch Drive.
The Vineyards will be open to the public, not just those who live on the property, making it a valuable economic addition to the city of Porter Ranch as the lot will contain many luxury brand name stores.
