Despite struggle with sight, Lindsay Cardona stays strong

Can you imagine what it would be like if we didn’t have one of our senses; never seeing a person, never tasting a pizza or never hearing the voice of your loved ones? What if you knew you were losing one of your senses but couldn’t do anything to stop it?

This is the reality for senior Lindsay Cardona. Cardona wasn’t born blind, but was diagnosed last August with Stargardt’s disease.

Mancini makes big “Impact” on the skateboard documentary scene

Mancini, office assistant in the College and Career Office, won the 2012 Impact University of Southern California (USC) College Television award for her documentary on skateboarding. This is a very impressive achievement in the television and film industry, since her documentary won first place in the entire nation.
