Summer blockbusters

Summer marks the time to lay back and relax after the long school year. In addition, it is also the time to see all the new highly anticipated movies of the year. Here are a few coming out this summer.

“Jurassic World”

On June 12, “Jurassic World” hits theaters. Directed by Colin Trevorrow, the movie takes place 22 years after the original “Jurassic Park” series. “Jurassic World” is about a new dinosaur theme park located on an island. However, the movie takes a sharp turn when one of the attractions at Jurassic World backfires and puts everyone’s life in danger.

“Paper Towns”

Coming out July 24, “Paper Towns” will be the movie to see with its immense popularity because it is based off the novel by John Green. The story revolves around Quentin Jacobson (Nat Wolff) and Margo Roth Speigelman (Cara Delevingne). As the two characters get closer, Margo disappears. The plot follows Quentin and a few of his friends as they go on a huge adventure to try and find Margo.

“Insidious: Chapter 3”

Having already won an award from the Palm Springs International Film Festival, as the prequel to the first two films, “Insidious: Chapter 3” reveals how it all began when the psychic Elise Rainer (Lin Shaye) helps a teenage girl who is in trouble with an evil supernatural entity.

“Avengers: Age of Ultron”

Already out in theaters, the “Avengers:Age of Ultron” is going to be a hit for a long time. Released May 1 the Avengers team reunites to once again save the world from destruction.

This must-see movie has humor, action, romance, and so much more, therefore making it a great movie to see repeatedly this summer.
