I’ve always loved to write, and the Plaid Press has only enhanced that! I love storytelling and connecting to a larger audience on campus. This newspaper has become such a stable in how I perceive myself and the people around me. As a writer I’m constantly looking for the 3rd dimension or the angle to write, that connects to my message. And with my fellow editors and staff writers their community has helped me write in a genuine and open minded tone more than I could’ve ever achieved writing in isolation. That is the reason I joined, and more importantly the reason why I’ve stayed for two years! I love to cover Profiles and occasionally a News piece!
Fun fact about me: I am an avid watcher of OverSimplified History and Crime Podcasts on YouTube!
